JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Production Associate II
Direct work in a production area ensuring continuous work, safe work practices and on-schedule completion.
DESCRIPTION:
  • Follow all Crown Packaging safety and health rules and regulations, and wear or use required protective equipment while working. Report hazardous conditions to the employer. Report any job-related injury or illness to the supervisor or manager and seek treatment promptly.
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any injuries or accidents in the work area.
  • Control and monitor all work order changeovers.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively use and log in information on the computer.
  • Ensure all members of the line understand the work instructions.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform all jobs on the line or area of responsibility in accordance with established procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to operate all equipment safely and properly.
  • Ensure all materials and parts are present on the line before starting a new work order.
  • Conduct spot-checks to ensure Production Associates are following safety procedures and operating equipment in a proper and safe manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly with other Production Associates in a professional manner.
  • Complete and maintain required paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Consistently follow procedures for scanning vendor labels.
  • Ensure product is placed on skids in accordance with work orders.
  • Follow established procedures for re-stock.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Is consistently at work and on time.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitors on quality to ensure good quality.
  • Able to meet all mandatory training for position.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet productivity standards.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Follows instructions responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; works overtime when required.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time.
