Spring Valley began on a small family farm in Jackson, WI in 1961 and has grown into a leading manufacturer of fertilizers and ice melter products. From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Spring Valley became a part of the Interoceanic (IOC) family of companies in 2022. Our company continues to grow and expand, which presents many new opportunities. Our Cleveland, TN plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates to join our team!


Responsibilities include:

  • Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
  • Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
  • Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
  • Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
  • General cleanup of work areas
  • Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks:

  • $18.00-$20.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.

Requirements:

Successful team members will have:

  • Priority for safety and following established safety programs.
  • Outstanding attendance - your team (and your paycheck) depend on you!
  • Excellent communication and organization in a fast paced production environment.
  • Previous experience and comfortability in forklift operation, including stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus!
  • Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
  • Ability to work 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday)
  • Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
  • Pass a post-offer drug screen
  • Reliable transportation to get to and from work
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably
