Production Professional

The Austin plant has an opening for Production Professional opportunities. Successful candidates will work in our food processing production facility located in Austin, Minnesota, and enjoy competitive wages along with a comprehensive benefits package. The Austin plant specializes in the production of items including SPAM, Dry Sausage, Bacon and Fresh pork. The starting rate is $24.85.

What you'll do as a Production Professional:

  • Follow all company rules for food safety and employee safety.

  • Drive a forklift consistent with company standards.

  • Working Conditions: Refrigerated environment - temperatures average 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Learn a wide variety of jobs and duties across our plant such as: grinding, batching, and stuffing products, operating forklifts, slicing, boxing, and more.

  • Make people safety and food safety the number one priority.

What skills you will use:

  • The ability to read and write to complete job-related paperwork.

  • Basic computer skills to complete job-related tasks.

  • The ability to perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift.

  • The ability to kneel/squat/climb as necessary to complete job related tasks.

  • Weekend work is required.
