Job Description

Pay rate: $17/hr 

The Production Associate 2 employee at Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is responsible for various windows & doors assembly operations while ensuring we Safely make a Quality product and minimize waste/ cost, so it can be delivered on time to customers. Also, responsible for working with a sense of urgency while maintaining the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties:

WHAT YOU'LL DO Operate hand tools as required and assemble, lift, pick and pack products Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities. Follow defined clean-up times. Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies. Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and standardized operations Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for Customers Identify problems; communicate issues. Assist with training co-workers. Support a respectful workplace. Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management

Qualifications

Ability to read at least minimum word and number recognition/Visual Cues Operate power tools with dexterity, basic operations, and knowing when to change PPE Identify hazards while understanding station knowledge of safety hazards/protocols/PPE

Variations - having knowledge of measurement standards and tolerances Follow instruction and Standard Work while frequently referencing Standard work instructions
