Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

The Production Worker plays a key role in transforming raw materials into finished products by performing precise measurements, following blueprints, hand-assembling components, and ensuring overall product quality. You work at your own station within a collaborative team environment, supporting machine operators with job setup and contributing to efficient, high-quality production.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture raw materials into finished products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Use a tape measure to take accurate measurements and mark guidelines on materials.
• Draw and mark measurement lines to prepare materials for cutting, bending, or assembly.
• Hand-assemble products, ensuring components fit correctly and meet required dimensions.
• Bend products to correct angles based on blueprints and job requirements.
• Work from blueprints and job instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Assist machine operators with setting up jobs and preparing materials for production runs.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workstation within a team-based production environment.
• Perform general labor tasks such as assembly and packing as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards throughout the production process.

Essential Skills

• Previous manufacturing experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to comfortably work in a team-oriented production environment.
• Capability to bend, push, or lift up to 45 pounds as part of daily tasks.
• Comfort with standing on your feet for the entire shift.
• Basic proficiency using hand tools in a production or warehouse setting.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and job instructions.
• Attention to detail when measuring, marking, and assembling products.
• Reliability and consistency in following safety and quality procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Previous assembly experience in production, warehouse, or general labor roles.
• Machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in packing or general labor tasks within a warehouse or production facility.

Work Environment

This role is based in an organized, well-lit, and spacious production facility designed to support safe and efficient work. You work on the first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., standing for most of the day while performing hands-on tasks at your own workstation within a team setting. The environment is clean and visually appealing, with clearly defined work areas and access to hand tools, tape measures, and production equipment. The facility emphasizes safety, collaboration, and a comfortable atmosphere for daily operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ludlow, MA.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
