Job description

The Production Floater plays a key role in supporting multiple departments within the manufacturing process. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to teamwork. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and eager to build a long-term career in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble parts into complete units or subassemblies using hand and small power tools.
  • Build pump flanges, ball valves, isolation couplings, and other support products.
  • Inspect components for proper fit and finish; report deviations to supervisors.
  • Assist with TIG welding for valve production as needed.
  • Accurately record production data and update inventory systems.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and support various departments as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to learn part names and assembly processes.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push carts weighing up to 1,500 lbs.
