Company:O.E.M. Remanufacturing Company Inc.Number of Openings:1Worker Type:PermanentPosition Overview:Provides general labor and assistance to production personnel in the area. The self-motivated candidate will complete job tasks as assigned with minimum supervision. Must maintain production area organization and cleanliness in compliance with Contamination Control guidelines and 5S standards as well as complete other related tasks in support of production as they arise. This position consists of 50/50 mix of computer work and assisting with production tasks.Job Description:
  • Pick up and deliver parts, products and tooling to/from various departments

  • Find required parts in other areas of the building

  • Maintain consumable cabinet

  • Deliver tooling for calibration / inspection

  • Audits of calibrated tooling and rigging

  • Enter information into databases

  • 5S champion for department

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • General labour experience

  • Experience in a heavy-duty equipment facility is preferred.

  • Crane/rigging as well as Powerjack/Forklift experience is preferred.

  • Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively.

  • Must be a team player with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds.

  • A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator.

  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures.

  • This posting is for a static day shift; Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day (8am - 4:30pm)
