Description

Our Production Workers manage various functions required for each phase of the manufacturing process. Our workers perform these functions as described in written Work Orders and Work Instructions as well as Blueprints. We are a lean manufacturer that requiring that employees become cross-trained in various functions and areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Various functions within the production area such as line work, running heavy and light machines, grinding, buffing, assembly, etc.
  • May be required to set up tooling and/or machines for production run
  • May be required to use various small tools such as drills, mallets, sanders, grinders, etc.
  • Responsible for checking each part to ensure quality
  • Responsible to produce product timely according to schedule
  • Responsible to understand and follow safety procedures
  • Must quality produce parts by following written work orders/work instructions, blue prints, etc.
  • Regular and consistent job attendance required, with or without reasonable accommodation in accordance with the ADA

  • Must be able to read, understand, and speak English well enough to follow the written and verbal work orders, work instructions as well as to communicate with co-workers regarding safety, quality and production issues.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and their written instructions
  • Willingness and ability to cross train in various functions is required

Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
