Job Summary
As a Test Operator at Hyve Solutions Corporation, you will be responsible for executing various tests on computer hardware components and systems to ensure quality and functionality before deployment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to testing protocols.
Responsibilities
* Perform functional, performance, and stress tests on servers, storage, and networking hardware according to established procedures.
* Accurately record test results, identify defects, and document non-conformance issues in a timely manner.
* Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot hardware failures and pinpoint root causes.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve identified issues and improve product quality.
* Maintain a clean and organized testing environment, ensuring proper handling of equipment and components.
* Follow all safety guidelines and protocols in the handling of electronic equipment.
* Participate in training and development activities to stay current with new testing methodologies and technologies.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics) preferred.
* 1+ years of experience in hardware testing, manufacturing, or a related technical role.
* Basic understanding of computer hardware components (e.g., CPU, RAM, motherboards, storage devices).
