Production Support Analyst: Atticus

What you will do in this role

This role will support the Atticus Production team through various activities including systems transactions, preparation and maintenance of key production documents, data maintenance & reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Support Analyst will report directly to the Manager, Production & Planning.

Responsibilities  

·         Works closely with production / formulation facilities (i.e. 3rd party toller manufactures) to ensure accurate and timely production reporting.  Responsible for posting all such production into Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP system).

·         Executes the end of campaign reconciliation process, which includes an actual consumption versus bill of material consumption review, a reconciliation of bill of material errors, verifying toll fee accuracy, verifying normal waste accuracy, and verifying physical inventories. Any discrepancies are reviewed with the Production group and corrected accordingly.

·         Coordinates and executes the monthly production readiness review. This includes a review of all production requirements as it relates to raw material availability, including active ingredient, inerts and packaging components. Networks with Production and Procurement groups as necessary to ensure all components are staged / at the manufacturing plant two weeks prior to the agreed upon production start date.

·         Networks with Procurement and Regulatory functions to ensure compliance of existing label inventory and new purchase orders.  Effectively communicates artwork compliance requirements to the toller as part of the pre-production packet.

·         Neatly prepares production packets for upcoming production campaigns. This includes gathering production documents such as the manufacturing manual, product specification, bill of material, packaging instructions, label revisions and SDSs where necessary. 

·         Reviews all toll manufacturing invoices for accuracy (e.g., actual versus production reports, and verify agreed pricing); resolves discrepancies as necessary and approves.

·         Ensures inventory is properly dispositioned as a result of end of campaign reconciliation, production of intermediate steps, and the production off-spec product, which includes transacting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP system) and communicating to the Production team accordingly.

·         Supports Atticus quality objectives by measuring and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) related to production readiness and execution.

·         Drives process improvement as it relates to contract manufacturing relationships, production execution, and the production/consumption posting process.

·         Develops and maintains production records and prepares management reports as required and/or requested.

·         Assists in optimizing 3rd party toll manufacturing portfolio to ensure products are manufactured in a cost effective, safe and compliant manner.

Required Skills/Qualifications 

·         Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business, supply chain management, or a related field required

·         Basic understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement

·         Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive communication skills. Ability to network within the organization as well as with external parties

·         Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

·         Exceeds customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail

·         Demonstrates leadership skills in driving change and improving the integrity of applicable processes and systems

·         Ability to work effectively across diverse and cross-functional teams, under critical timelines and while balancing the needs of internal and external customers

·         Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills
