Customer/Guest Service Associate - Manhattan, KS

The Customer/Guest Service Specialist will interact with the company's guests and customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints, generally providing a higher level of customer support on a specific product or service. In this instance, the role requires the Specialist to regularly interact with customers in a face-to-face setting and provide support and information on the car wash services and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with customers in person to provide support and information on an assigned product or service.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Interact warmly with guests, explain our services, and respond with confidence to questions.
  • Communicate promotions and wash package details effectively.
  • Process point-of-sale purchases.
  • Manage weekly schedule to achieve sales goals.
  • Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization.
  • Ensure a consistently great customer experience for all guests and the highest wash quality.
  • Maintain a high level of focus and attention for prolonged periods of time, with careful observation and call to action as required.
  • Maintain a beautiful, clean, operational, and orderly carwash facility and property
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Perform other operations, maintenance, and carwash site care duties, as requested

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of related experience is preferred.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear, including in loud environments. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus; must be able to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, and use controls, equipment, and tools. This position may require frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders of various sizes; standing or walking up to eight hours each day; and working in all weather conditions.

This position is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and drug test.
