Quality Control Coordinator

Job Description

The Quality Control Coordinator supports inspection activities on the production floor and in the quality control area, ensuring that in-process and final products meet established standards. This role maintains and organizes product samples and quality documentation, supports investigations and audits, and helps coordinate communication between production, suppliers, and the quality team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining product quality and traceability across the organization. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Manage and organize the sample library (physical samples + digital records)
  • Coordinate incoming, in-process, and final inspections using quality systems
  • Support supplier quality investigations and drive timely closure of corrective actions
  • Track and maintain sample revisions, approvals, and locations to ensure accuracy
  • Link and maintain critical documentation:
    • Specifications
    • Bills of Materials (BOMs)
    • Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Ensure product traceability by managing specification updates and version control
  • Organize and maintain quality records and documentation in a compliant system

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience working with batch records or lot traceability systems
  • Familiarity with GMP or ISO-regulated environments
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel included)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

This role is based in an indoor manufacturing environment with air conditioning in the production areas. The environment involves working around production activities, handling physical product samples, using basic inspection tools, and performing computer-based tasks for record keeping and quality systems.
