General Description

The Product Portfolio Performance Manager supports strategy, performance management, prioritization, governance, and value realization across the Mi Banco product portfolio.

This position provides Product Managers, Product Owners, business units, and leadership with the analysis, insights, and recommendations needed to make informed portfolio investment and prioritization decisions. The role develops product scorecards, tracks key performance indicators, supports business case development, coordinates Quarterly Business Reviews, and evaluates expected versus realized value across initiatives.

Unlike a traditional Product Manager, this position does not directly manage an individual product roadmap, backlog, or delivery team. Instead, it operates across the Mi Banco portfolio to provide performance visibility, strategic decision support, stakeholder alignment, and governance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of product and portfolio strategies across Mi Banco.

Evaluate initiatives based on customer impact, business value, strategic alignment, capacity, dependencies, risks, and operational considerations.

Develop and maintain product and portfolio KPI frameworks, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.

Monitor product adoption, usage, customer experience, operational performance, and business outcomes.

Analyze portfolio performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.

Translate quantitative and qualitative information into actionable insights and recommendations for business and product leadership.

Lead the preparation and coordination of Quarterly Business Reviews, portfolio performance updates, and executive presentations.

Develop executive-ready narratives that clearly communicate portfolio performance, business outcomes, risks, recommendations, and value delivered.

Support the development of business cases by evaluating assumptions, expected benefits, customer impact, risks, dependencies, and strategic alignment.

Track expected versus realized value following the implementation of product initiatives.

Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes, operational efficiency, portfolio performance, and value realization.

Support visibility into portfolio investments, business benefits, and potential capitalization opportunities in partnership with Finance and Accounting.

Develop and maintain frameworks that support portfolio intake, evaluation, prioritization, and performance management.

Facilitate structured prioritization discussions involving competing initiatives, limited capacity, dependencies, and stakeholder interests.

Participate in portfolio planning activities, including Big Room Planning, discovery sessions, governance forums, and strategic reviews.

Maintain visibility into portfolio risks, dependencies, assumptions, tradeoffs, and decisions.

Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to establish expected outcomes, success metrics, and performance measures.

Collaborate with Digital Banking leadership, business units, Analytics, Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams.

Support discovery activities by identifying customer needs, business opportunities, performance gaps, and potential areas of investment.

Recommend improvements to portfolio governance, KPI management, reporting, prioritization, and value-tracking processes.

Education

Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

A Masterโ€™s Degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in product management, portfolio management, program management, business strategy, business analysis, digital banking, data analytics, performance management, or a related area.

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

  • Product and portfolio performance analysis.
  • KPI development and tracking.
  • Scorecard and dashboard development.
  • Business case preparation.
  • Executive reporting and presentations.
  • Portfolio prioritization and governance.
  • Financial or value-realization analysis.
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Digital products, financial services, or digital banking.
Certifications / Licenses

Certifications in Product Management, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline are preferred.

Other Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to evaluate complex information and develop objective, data-driven recommendations.

Knowledge of product strategy, product performance management, portfolio governance, prioritization, and value realization practices.

Experience establishing KPIs, success metrics, dashboards, and product or portfolio scorecards.

Ability to analyze expected versus realized customer and business value.

Strong business case development and financial analysis skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

Strong ability to prepare and present clear, concise, and executive-ready materials.

Ability to translate complex business, technical, and analytical information into meaningful recommendations.

Strong presentation, facilitation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to navigate competing priorities, conflicting stakeholder interests, limited capacity, dependencies, and incomplete information.

Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Business, Finance, Analytics, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams.

Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining accurate portfolio performance information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Experience with reporting, dashboard, data visualization, collaboration, and product-management tools is preferred.

Knowledge of Agile product-development practices and customer-centered discovery methodologies is preferred.
