Are you an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching employees, and improving operations? We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead warehouse and production operations for a growing corrugated packaging manufacturer in Bristol, CT.

In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, lead a team of warehouse and production employees, ensure a safe work environment, and help drive productivity and continuous improvement. If you're a strong decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to speak with you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all daily warehouse and production operations.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse and production employees.
  • Conduct daily attendance reviews, safety meetings, and equipment inspections.
  • Monitor production schedules, machine setup, and run times to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure customer orders are produced accurately and delivered on time.
  • Oversee the operation of production equipment, including cardboard cutting machines, forklifts, and wrapping equipment.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and an organized production environment.
  • Make hiring, coaching, disciplinary, and staffing decisions.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6 years of management experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial environment.
  • Experience leading warehouse, production, or operations teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with forklifts or other industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of production metrics, scheduling, and continuous improvement is preferred.
