About the role:

As a Product Manager for non-fuel core components, you will be responsible for our PWR and BWR control rod/control blade products, primary and secondary neutron sources, thimble plugging devices, Co-60 burnable absorbers, discrete burnable absorbers, and all other core components used outside of fuel assemblies. Over time, your assigned product mix may evolve with the needs of the business.

You will lead the product strategy, including managing product lifecycle from development to retirement, and work with commercial, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure Westinghouse delivers competitive and profitable offerings to our customers.

You will report to the Product Management Director of Fuel Strategy & Product Management and be located at Columbia, SC or Cranberry Twp, PA locations, but alternatives may be considered. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our office

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and analyze the market, define and implement product strategy to grow Westinghouse's market share
  • Articulate Westinghouse value proposition and differentiation, support account and sales teams to develop leads and opportunities
  • Maintain product-specific market intelligence
  • Build product and platform lifecycle management
  • Support technical clarification and Westinghouse value proposition with customer
  • Support prioritization of development programs
  • Challenge product cost for reduction
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of applicable experience
  • Experience developing and articulating product strategies, business cases, and value propositions for complex, technical products.
  • Technical expertise in nuclear fuel

Beneficial:

  • Experience with the design of core components. Commercial or manufacturing experience is also highly desirable, especially if this experience is related to nuclear fuel.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
