Geode Capital Management, LLC is actively searching for a full‑time Senior Product Manager of the Data team to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise data products and capabilities. This role will be responsible for continuing the expansion of Geode's Operational Data Store and driving the adoption of modern, scalable data products that support enterprise applications, reporting, analytics, and operational workflows.

Reporting into the Head of Data, the Senior Product Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, application product managers, data engineering, architecture, operations, and executive leadership to define and execute a cohesive enterprise data roadmap. The ideal candidate combines strong product management discipline, asset management domain expertise, technical acumen, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

This role is based in our office in Boston, Massachusetts. You are required to follow the firm’s policy on in‑office attendance. Our current policy requires in‑office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with an option to work remotely on Monday and Friday. The firm may modify this policy at any time.

Responsibilities
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for GEODS and related enterprise data products
  • Continue expanding enterprise data stores to support application, reporting, analytics, and operational use cases across the organization
  • Lead the development of API‑first data products that support application integration, operational workflows, and self‑service enterprise data access
  • Establish and maintain a transparent enterprise‑wide view of existing data assets, planned enhancements, onboarding priorities, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, strategic priorities, and stakeholder needs
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive multi‑year data roadmap that balances business priorities, application roadmaps, strategic initiatives, operational needs, and technical investments
  • Define and communicate product requirements, business value, success metrics, and implementation priorities for data products
  • Drive initiatives that improve transparency, accessibility, and usability of enterprise data assets
  • Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting capabilities that demonstrate the quality, completeness, reliability, and timeliness of data across operational data stores
  • Balance feature development and roadmap execution with operational excellence initiatives and technical debt reduction
  • Participate in operational reviews, incident management discussions, and service level planning activities

Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, or related leadership roles, preferably within Asset Management, Investment Management, or Financial Services
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross‑functional initiatives and driving enterprise‑scale data, reporting, analytics, or modernization programs
  • Strong understanding of operational data stores, data warehousing, API‑based products, cloud data platforms, data governance, and data quality concepts
  • Experience collaborating with both business stakeholders and engineering teams to define strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver scalable technology solutions
  • Familiarity with modern data technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Tableau, REST APIs, and cloud native architectures
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, planning, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across diverse teams
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and building, leading, or mentoring high‑performing teams
