Job description

The Senior Product Manager supports the development and execution of product management across Retail and Business Banking. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Strategy & Customer Insights, this role works closely with business lines and cross-functional partners to support the full product lifecycle, including product roadmap development, identifying growth opportunities, supporting strategic pricing discussions, and enhancing existing products and services. The role also helps promote alignment across lines of business to support a consistent and customer-focused product experience across United Community.

This position serves as a strategic and collaborative partner focused on strengthening product management capabilities and improving coordination across teams. The role also helps ensure United Community’s products remain competitive, customer-focused, and effectively managed throughout the product lifecycle in alignment with risk and compliance expectations.


  • Support product lifecycle management activities including product enhancements, change management, ongoing performance evaluation, and product rationalization in partnership with the business units, operations, risk, compliance, and IT teams.
  • Support and coordinate product roadmap development in partnership with Retail Banking, Business Banking, Digital Banking, Treasury Services, Private Wealth, and other business partners.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence and market analysis across products, pricing, customer experience, and digital capabilities to identify trends, gaps, and strategic opportunities.
  • Support strategic pricing and promotion initiatives by providing market insights, competitive analysis, and product-level recommendations related to customer acquisition, relationship deepening, and retention efforts.
  • Leverage customer insights, performance trends, and Voice of the Customer feedback to help inform product recommendations and roadmap priorities.
  • Support development of management reporting to improve visibility into product and portfolio performance.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the bank’s systems, operational processes, and customer journeys to support planning, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Help ensure product initiatives and recommendations align with applicable regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.
  • Compliance Training: Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
