Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior iOS Developer based in Netherlands.

This is an opportunity to build a next-generation mobile financial product at the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized technology.
You'll take ownership of the iOS experience for an application bringing investing, trading, staking, and digital assets together in one platform.
The role combines polished mobile product development with demanding requirements around security, reliability, and real-time financial data.
You'll work extensively with Swift and SwiftUI while integrating secure wallet functionality and transaction signing flows.
Close collaboration with backend, product, and design teams will allow you to shape both the technical architecture and user experience.
You'll join a fast-moving remote startup environment where autonomy, technical ownership, and strong communication are highly valued.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced iOS engineer interested in fintech, blockchain, and building consumer-facing financial technology from the ground up.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain a high-quality iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Build intuitive and reliable interfaces for complex financial workflows, including staking, trading, portfolio management, and digital asset exposure.
  • Implement secure wallet integrations and transaction-signing flows with a strong focus on protecting user assets and data.
  • Integrate RESTful and WebSocket APIs to support reliable communication with backend services and real-time financial information.
  • Optimize application performance, stability, security, and responsiveness across supported iOS devices.
  • Apply appropriate mobile security practices, including secure storage, Keychain integration, and biometric authentication.
  • Contribute to mobile architecture decisions and help maintain scalable, maintainable application structures.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and engineering practices.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into polished, user-friendly experiences.
  • Monitor developments in the iOS ecosystem and evaluate relevant platform updates, APIs, and capabilities for integration into the product.
  • Take ownership of technical challenges and contribute proactively to the evolution of the mobile product in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Solid understanding of iOS security best practices, including Keychain, biometric authentication, and secure data storage.
  • Practical experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with real-time data through WebSockets.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
  • Experience building production-quality applications with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities and a high degree of ownership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience developing fintech, trading, banking, or other financial applications is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital wallets, transactions, or DeFi concepts is a plus.
  • Experience publishing and maintaining applications through the Apple App Store is advantageous.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and design stakeholders in a remote environment.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary of $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Fully remote position within Europe.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Opportunity to build a consumer-facing financial product from an early stage.
  • Work at the intersection of fintech, decentralized finance, blockchain, and mobile technology.
  • Significant influence over mobile architecture, product development, and user experience.
  • Opportunity to work with modern iOS technologies including Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Exposure to technically challenging areas including secure wallet integration, transaction signing, and real-time financial data.
  • Fast-paced startup environment offering substantial autonomy and technical ownership.
  • Collaborative work with backend engineering, product, and design teams.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the development of a new approach to digital financial services.
