Job description

Pinewood.AI is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Product Team and help shape the future of our Automotive Intelligence Platform. This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and we are particularly interested in candidates who are already located in the area or who are open to relocating to Fort Lauderdale for the role.

This is a hands-on product role within a high-performing SaaS environment, focused on building software that sits at the heart of automotive retail operations. You’ll turn customer insight, business needs and market opportunities into clear product priorities and valuable software improvements that make a measurable difference for automotive dealerships.

You’ll work across interconnected areas of our platform, including vehicle sales, aftersales, parts, CRM, finance and insurance (F&I), reporting and broader platform services. You’ll partner closely with customers, dealership teams, engineering, UX, QA and business stakeholders to understand real-world challenges and deliver solutions that improve end-to-end dealership workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, commercially minded and highly organized, with the ability to move comfortably between customer conversations, product strategy and hands-on delivery.

Why Fort Lauderdale?

This is an exciting opportunity to join Pinewood.AI at an important stage of our growth in the U.S. market. Based in Fort Lauderdale, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with customers and partners across the U.S. automotive industry while helping shape the next generation of automotive retail technology.

You don’t need to be in Fort Lauderdale today. If you’re the right person for the role and are open to relocating to South Florida, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and develop product areas within the Pinewood.AI platform, ensuring they align with customer needs, business objectives and overall product strategy.
  • Build a deep understanding of automotive dealership operations and translate customer challenges into meaningful product opportunities.
  • Lead product discovery activities, including customer interviews, user research, data analysis, market research and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies and evolving customer expectations to help inform product strategy.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer value, commercial impact, technical considerations and delivery capacity.
  • Define clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable success criteria.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX and Project Delivery to ensure requirements are understood and products are delivered effectively.
  • Lead, coach and support Associate Product Managers and Project Delivery Managers, ensuring their work remains aligned with product priorities and delivery objectives.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and help communicate priorities, strategy and product direction across the organization.
  • Use customer feedback, product data and business metrics to make informed product decisions and measure the impact of releases.
  • Act as a key product partner for Account Management, Implementation, Partner Support, Engineering and other internal teams.
  • Support product communications, including release plans, product updates, feature benefits and delivery timelines.
  • Participate in feature reviews and sign-off, ensuring product changes meet customer needs, quality standards and business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with automotive dealers, customers, partners and manufacturers to understand real-world use cases and validate product direction.
  • Represent the voice of the customer while balancing commercial and technical considerations in product decisions.
  • Previous experience as a Product Manager in a software, SaaS or technology environment.
  • Experience in automotive retail, dealership operations, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), automotive technology or enterprise software.
  • Experience with one or more relevant automotive product areas, such as vehicle sales, inventory, CRM, accounting, Fixed ops/service, parts, F&I, reporting or dealership operations.
  • Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through delivery, launch and measurement of business value.
  • Proven experience gathering, interpreting and prioritizing customer, user and business requirements.
  • Strong ability to write user stories, define acceptance criteria and translate complex business needs into clear product requirements.
  • Ability to think strategically about product direction, market trends and competitive positioning while remaining comfortable working hands-on with delivery teams.
  • Experience leading, coaching or mentoring product, delivery or project-focused colleagues.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and customer insight to support product decisions.
  • Commercially minded, with a focus on customer value, business outcomes and measurable product impact.
  • Highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented, with the confidence to make decisions and clearly communicate prioritization.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma or similar product and delivery platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, Lean or similar methodologies.
  • A very competitive salary
  • Excellent bonus scheme
  • Flexible mix of home and office working
  • 4 weeks PTO
  • 401k
  • Excellent health insurance benefits
  • Regular 1-2-1s and career development opportunities
Why join Pinewood.AI?

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a strategically important product area and play a key role in shaping the future of CRM solutions for the global automotive retail sector. As we continue to expand internationally, you’ll be at the forefront of building innovative, scalable features that meet the needs of dealers, partners, and manufacturers around the world.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast-paced product team that values autonomy, creativity, and clarity of purpose. Your ideas will directly influence how dealerships manage processes, and you'll be trusted to drive that vision forward with the backing of a highly skilled development team.
