Job Title- Product Manager - AI

Project Location โ€“ Hybrid at Oakland, CA office 2-3 days onsite in a week

Duration- 12+ months contract

Visa- USC/ GC

Product Manager, AI
Key Responsibilities

Partner with engineering and AI/ML teams to integrate third-party (e.g., OpenAI) and internal capabilities
Experience leading cross-cutting programs or technology deployments, focusing on emerging technologies and creating new processes for rapid scale-up
Experience deploying software products (applications, services, etc.) or consumer hardware products
Experience in Design Thinking and customer-first product design processes
Lead the product design, business requirements, and definition of PG&E's AI Center of Excellence initiatives
Engage with project execution stakeholders for execution and program management
Manage the project timeline, budget, and advocate for and adjust resourcing when necessary
Identify and prioritize use cases and required capabilities for PG&E AI initiatives
Curate training datasets and tagging structures to fine-tune model performance and ensure desired outputs.
Monitor output metrics such as asset acceptance rate, generation cost, and asset velocity to optimize tool performance.
Expected Skillset
10+ years of product management experience with at least 3+ years working in AI/ML, creative tech, or content automation.
Demonstrated experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Stability, Adobe Firefly) and image-related prompt engineering.
Strong understanding of model training pipelines, tagging systems, and metadata management.
Comfortable leading hands-on delivery in a fast-moving, ambiguous space with high visibility.
Excellent stakeholder management and storytelling skills โ€” you know how to align creatives, engineers, and executives alike.
A plus if they have experience in the utility sector or with Foundry.
