Want a seat at our table? Ziosk is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join our Product team. The Product Manager will contribute to the overall success of several Ziosk products, with a focus on integration with online point of sale systems, loyalty programs, and techniques for handling customer data.
This role supports Ziosk's Platform & Integrations product strategy with an emphasis on applying AI driven capabilities to enhance reliability, personalization, and automation across our ecosystem. You will collaborate across integration initiatives- working closely with developers, designers, QA, data scientists, and business stakeholders- to ensure our products leverage AI and data to meet the evolving needs of restaurant operators and their guests. You must be able to understand the business requirements of all key stakeholders and translate them into intelligent, data-informed product experiences that drive measurable guest engagement. The Main Course - Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a forward-looking product vision that leverages AI driven capabilities- such as predictive analytics, personalization models, and automation-to enhance integrations with payment and loyalty systems. Align AI powered opportunities with company goals and contribute to Ziosk's product roadmaps with other Product Managers.
  • Customer & Market Insights: Gather and prioritize customer requirements, incorporating AI supported research tools to identify patterns, sentiment, and unmet needs. Partner with the sales team to understand market demands firsthand, using data driven insights to validate and refine product assumptions.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research using both traditional methods and AI powered trend analysis to identify innovation opportunities. Use machine learning- based competitive scans, industry forecasting, and restaurant workflow modeling to shape product strategy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with restaurant owners, managers, and staff to understand workflow challenges and guest experience pain points. Translate those insights into actionable, AI enhanced product requirements that streamline operations and unlock meaningful automation.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain an AI informed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market signals, predictive KPIs, and opportunities where AI or machine learning can create measurable business value.
  • User Experience: Advocate for exceptional user experiences by collaborating with designers to incorporate AI powered UX patterns-such as adaptive interfaces, smart recommendations, and automated support flows- resulting in intuitive, personalized tablet and platform interactions.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics using advanced analytics, experimentation platforms, and model level performance dashboards. Leverage AI driven analytics to measure product success, detect anomalies, forecast usage trends, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Integration Ownership: Own end-to-end POS, payment, and loyalty integrations- incorporating AI where appropriate to enhance reliability, data mapping, fraud detection, and operational automation. Lead requirements definition, API coordination, partner enablement, certification flows, and release readiness across multiple platforms.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, data science, and platform teams to translate business needs into scalable technical specs that incorporate AI models, APIs, and data pipelines. Ensure responsible AI practices, model governance, and clear system architecture to support long-term scalability.

What You Bring to the Table - Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar, with demonstrated experience designing software through the full product life cycle from idea through release.
  • Shipped Products: Proven track record of launching products or features involving POS integrations, loyalty programs, and handling customer data.
  • AI Competency: Familiarity and hands-on experience with AI tools, methodologies, and frameworks used for product discovery, analytics, automation, or personalization (e.g., ML driven insights, predictive models, LLM powered workflows, or AI assisted research and prototyping tools). Ability to collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate business needs into AI enabled solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of restaurant operations, workflows, and customer service standards preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in agile development methodologies and familiarity with software development processes.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation- including the ability to leverage AI to uncover patterns, validate hypotheses, and generate data driven decisions
