About the Opportunity

Chick-fil-A Nine Mile Rd. is proud to support transitioning Service Members through the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program. The Manager Intern position offers hands-on leadership experience in restaurant operations and leadership development. This immersive program is ideal for military members preparing for a career in business, hospitality, or leadership after separation or retirement.

What You'll Do

As a Manager Intern, you will work directly with the leadership team to gain real-world management experience, including:

  • Leading shifts and supporting daily restaurant operations
  • Coaching and motivating team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensuring outstanding guest service and hospitality
  • Learning Chick-fil-A operational systems, food safety, and quality standards
  • Completing leadership development projects aligned with business goals
What You'll Learn

By the end of the SkillBridge internship, participants will gain experience in:

  • Operational excellence and process execution
  • Guest experience and service recovery
  • Business fundamentals (labor, food cost, productivity)
  • Problem-solving, communication, and decision-making
  • Translating military leadership skills into a civilian business environment
