Job description

Product Manager, Core ProductCompany Overview

Archera empowers organizations of all sizes to optimize their cloud costs through unique, short-term, insured commitments. Thousands of customers rely on Archera's innovative FinTech solutions to increase their cloud ROI while accelerating revenue objectives and service agility.

Archera's unique cloud rate insurance products and free FinOps platform enable teams to accurately predict and plan infrastructure growth, maximize commitment-based savings, and hedge against market demands and evolving cloud service provider offerings. Archera works closely with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, along with a broad partner ecosystem, to help customers execute financially prudent cloud strategies.

Position Overview

Customers commit real money based on what Archera shows them, so the depth and correctness of the product across every cloud is what wins customers and keeps them. As Product Manager for Core Product, you will own the outcomes of that product across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud - how well it wins deals, retains customers, and delivers value - including bringing Google Cloud to feature parity with our AWS and Azure support and to general availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the outcomes of your product area across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with the roadmap that drives them.
  • Bring Google Cloud to feature parity with our AWS and Azure support and to general availability, and own the purchasing and commitment capabilities customers use to lock in cloud savings.
  • Treat requests from sales, customer success, and engineering as signal - run discovery to understand the underlying problem rather than building the literal ask.
  • Make evidence-based prioritization calls, including what to build ahead of demand and what waits, and explain the reasoning clearly enough that it holds.
  • Define success metrics for your areas, instrument them, and measure whether what you shipped actually worked.
  • Partner with engineering and design as equals, keeping quality and trust high on a product customers stake real money on.
  • Use AI tooling to move faster on discovery, analysis, and communication.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in product management, including at least 2 years at an early-stage or high-growth company.
  • A track record of owning product outcomes - moved metrics and customer results, not only a shipped roadmap - for a technical or B2B product.
  • Strong discovery skills: you find the real problem behind a request and validate before building.
  • Comfort in technical, infrastructure, or cloud domains, with the depth to reason about the product yourself.
  • The judgment to decline a request from a stakeholder, sales included, and keep that decision durable.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with technical and go-to-market audiences alike.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Exposure to cloud, FinOps, multi-cloud cost management, developer tools, infrastructure, or billing domains.
  • Experience bringing a product to parity across multiple platforms or providers.
  • Experience working closely with go-to-market teams on a technical product.
  • Experience on a team that owned outcomes and metrics rather than a delivery backlog.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary and equity package
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • Flexible PTO and company holidays
  • Remote-first culture
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a category-defining FinTech platform
