Job Description

Overview:

The candidate selected to be our Product Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the product line strategy for existing and future products focused on internet gateways, internet software and coordinating with third party hardware and software products. This position will be a hands on role responsible for product lifecycle management, which includes managing the product roadmap, planning and prioritization of enhancements, detailed requirements analysis activities.

Responsibilities:

Product manager with technical skills (i.e. networking) to support a global product release strategy

Manage Product Roadmap for assigned products including:

  • Enhancement definition/project scoping
  • Management and prioritization of change requests
  • Business case development
  • Impact assessment
  • Requirements (epics and user stories)
  • Assist with business analysis activities associated with enhancements

Work directly with development organization on project execution including:

  • Sprint planning
  • Product Owner
  • Requirements Management

Assist with quality assurance and user acceptance testing

Release management including:

  • Release readiness
  • Release communication
  • Product documentation
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience with commercial networking
  • Experience supporting hotel internet solutions
  • Experience in entrepreneurial/start up type environment
  • Experience in B2B environment (preferred, not required)
  • Experience in software product management  
  • Experience in agile development environment
  • Experience using Jira or other similar agile tools
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Take ownership, take initiative and make things happen
  • Critical thinking, problem solving attitude
  • Flexible in approach and style of leadership
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to travel (~25%)
