Other job duties include collaborating with the design, marketing, and sales departments to develop strategies to increase profit margins, monitoring emerging product trends, and forecasting customer demand. To become a product line manager, you need a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, or a related field, and several years of industry experience.
