Job Description
We're looking for a stellar Senior Global Product Manager to lead the development and launch of strategic new consumer electronics products at Cricut. Known for our innovation and product design, you will have the opportunity to take us to the next level, as you translate market and consumer insights into strategic product launches.
As a Senior Global Product Manager, you'll:
  • Manage the strategy and execution of new product innovation and renovation
  • Create full product business plans, including product concept, positioning, forecasting, P&L management, etc.
  • Conduct industry and competitive analyses to drive strategic product decisions
  • Identify key research questions and assist in developing consumer learning plan
  • Actively conduct research and share insights with the cross-functional team
  • Define the consumer target, positioning, key benefits and features
  • Develop product requirements and gain cross-functional alignment
  • Work closely with ID, engineering, China team and QA on executing the product
  • Lead Gate meetings associated with the product launch
  • Track project timeline and ensure team is hitting key milestones
  • Lead development of product packaging, partnering with Creative Team
  • Partner with channel marketing to develop selling story for channel partners
  • Partner with marketing to support successful product launch
  • Managing ongoing business post launch, including tracking product performance
  • Manage other existing products, including business reporting, forecasting, and on-going business needs

Qualifications
  • MBA highly preferred or bachelor's degree with 7+ years of product marketing experience
  • Brand or product management experience required; must have experience developing upfront strategies for new innovation and executing on those strategies
  • Product management experience of consumer electronics desired
  • Strategic thinking-must be proficient and comfortable with developing solid product strategies in non-structured environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Passion and experience deriving consumer insights - Need experience conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research leading to key insights.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of curiosity and willingness to get hands-on in project work
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrate an ability to work through unknowns
  • Excellent communication skills - demonstrated use of written, presentation and verbal skills. Must be able to communicate business and product stories in concise compelling way to drive alignment and buy-in across the organization.
  • Working at all levels - proven ability to drive strategic thinking about product direction as well as diving into the details to fully deliver successful product launch.
  • Team player - build strong relationships with the cross-functional team while serving as the team lead to drive results
  • Data-driven decisions - know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness
