The Product Engineer Technician supports the execution of product engineering activities related to product design support, process development, material testing, material changes, continuous improvement initiatives, and product/process validation to help meet Cytiva's quality, supply, and business growth objectives.

This position reports to the Senior Product Engineering Manager and is part of the Product Engineering Team located in Pensacola and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Support the planning and execution of product engineering assignments related to product design support, process improvements, material testing, material changes, and product/process validation for existing and new media products.
  • Collect, analyze, and document process and product data to support product engineering projects. Prepare technical documentation, reports, work instructions, and presentations to support engineering and manufacturing activities.
  • Exhibits adaptability in supporting Product Engineering technical plans, validation activities, and material change initiatives, which may require working alternate shifts and weekends to meet business needs.

Who you are:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, chemistry, polymer science, materials science, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to collect and interpret data, perform basic statistical analysis, and identify trends to support engineering decisions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required); familiarity with Minitab or similar statistical software preferred or willingness to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within crossfunctional teams. Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within an engineering environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
