Job description

Product Development Engineer


We’re looking for a Product Development to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys learning, working with customers, and finding practical solutions to manufacturing and product challenges.


In this role, you’ll support new product development, product launches, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement. You’ll work with teams in the U.S. and India to help develop reliable, cost-effective products and processes.


About the Role

You’ll be involved from customer requirements through product development, testing, and production launch. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to support product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and successful launches.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop products based on customer requirements and specifications.
  • Communicate technical requirements with customers and production teams.
  • Support product launches using the APQP process.
  • Assist with testing, verification, validation, and production start-up.
  • Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality on tooling, processes, FMEAs, PPAPs, and other quality activities.
  • Maintain BOMs, ECNs, DCNs, and other product documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, and automation projects.
  • Assist with equipment qualification and technician/operator training.
  • Support the use of SPC and Cpk to improve process performance.
  • Travel as needed to support customers, manufacturing operations, and product launches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred—or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or process engineering.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and Cpk preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in both an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or automation is a plus.
