Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The NPI Leader will be responsible for driving the successful introduction of new products from customer requirement to market launch. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership, program management expertise, and the ability to align engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams to deliver products on time, at cost, and with high quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end NPI programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, and quality teams to ensure seamless product launches.
3. Process Development: Establish and refine NPI processes, including design transfer, pilot builds, validation, and ramp-up.
4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in product introduction and develop mitigation strategies.
5. Supplier & Manufacturing Readiness: Ensure suppliers and manufacturing sites are prepared for production ramp-up, including tooling, capacity, and quality systems.
6. Performance Tracking: Define KPIs for NPI success (time-to-market, yield, cost, quality) and report progress to leadership.
7. Continuous Improvement: Drive lessons learned from past launches into future NPI processes.
MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
2. 10+ years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or program management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
1. Strong Project Management Skill - Should have used Critical Path Method (CPM), Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM)
2. Proven track record of leading complex product introductions in a global environment.
3. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
4. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
5. Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
6. Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Passion for innovation and delivering customer value.
9. Should be comfortable with Microsoft Project Management Tool or any other tool.
10. Application of usage of AIML in project management will be added advantage.
