Job description

ETC is seeking a Product Assurance Specialist to support quality testing and validation within our LED product family. In this role, you'll learn the product line, execute test plans, identify and track defects, and support product development through hands-on validation work. You'll work closely with R&D teams, help maintain test equipment, provide technical support, and participate in ISO-aligned training. This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical electronics background who enjoys troubleshooting, collaboration, and learning in a fast-paced environment.

Representative Responsibilities:
• Gain knowledge on a specific product(s) within a product family
• Develop Product Assurance Plans for a specific product(s)
• Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports
• Support the product development and maintenance release process through validation testing to assure the quality of the product
• Execute test scenarios to uncover product design defects
• Report product defects via defect tracking database, following defects to resolution
• Acquire and maintain test equipment
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers
• Perform assigned project tasks under the supervision of more senior-level Product Assurance Specialist
• Participates in the ISO on the job training
• With assistance provide task completion time estimates
• Become familiar with tools and applications utilized within R&D
• Become familiar with a specific Product family within R&D
• Learn department and corporate policies, procedures and plans
• Schedule and attend identified training classes
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Completes special projects and assignments in a positive and timely manner

Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Electronics with 0 – 3 years of job related experience or 4 years of comparable job experience
• Experience in a team environment
• Demonstrates basic written/verbal skills
• Listens/gives constructive feedback
• Good group interaction skills
• Participates as a team member, works effectively in a team environment
• Ability to follow directions and project plans
• Grasps technical concepts and asks for clarification and direction when needed
