Associate of Visual Join our winning team, 1915 South, as an Associate of Visual Merchandising. 1915 South owns and operates 30 Ashley stores and 3 distribution centers across the southeast, including locations in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Virginia. Position Summary: The Associate of Visual Merchandising executes visual and merchandising plans in-store to support the selling process and enhance the guest experience. This role focuses on accurate execution, communication, and collaboration to ensure showroom floors are set to plan and optimized for product discovery and ease of selling. Partnering closely with Visual leadership, Sales teams, and Warehouse Associates, this role helps deliver consistent, customer-focused presentation aligned with company strategy. Job Duties Execute visual merchandising plans and floor sets as directed by Visual Managers and Directors, ensuring timely, accurate implementation. Maintain a high percentage of floor set alignment to plan, ensuring product placement supports overall merchandising and brand strategy. Train and coach Warehouse Associates on floor plans and execution standards to drive independent, efficient set completion. Communicate visual updates, product additions, and floor changes to the Sales team to strengthen product knowledge and selling conversations. Ensure showroom presentation optimizes guest flow, enhances product discovery, and supports key selling priorities. Uphold visual standards, cleanliness, and brand presentation consistency across assigned departments. Identify execution challenges and provide actionable feedback to Visual Leadership to improve processes and outcomes. Support seasonal transitions, major floor resets, and new product launches to maintain fresh and compelling displays. Partner with Store Leadership to align on priorities, timelines, and execution strategies. Monitor product performance and provide insights to Visual and Merchandising teams to inform layout adjustments and product recommendations. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required. Retail or visual merchandising education, preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of retail or visual merchandising experience, ideally in a furniture or large-format environment. Physical and Work Environment Requirements Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift, move, and position furniture and fixtures. Stand for extended periods of time.
