We are hiring a Product Engineer who will be responsible for launching exciting new products and driving product optimization. In this role, you will work within a multi-functional development team supporting new product introductions of high-performance mixed-signal audio products. You will be responsible for driving yield optimizations, cost reductions, and quality improvements. This is your opportunity to work with internal engineering teams and external product test suppliers to resolve sophisticated problems as well as identify and implement efficient process improvements!
Responsibilities
  • You will work on a team to drive yield & test time improvement, execute NPI ramp to production plan & own statistical data analysis and reporting for external customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the test team to deliver production quality test coverage and drive high standards for statistical analysis and overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with design, test, validation, manufacturing, failure analysis, quality, and operations teams to achieve key product milestones and resolve complex problems.
  • Provide product support on customer samples and returns.
  • Support failure analysis, risk assessment, and corrective actions to improve product robustness and production readiness.
  • Manage yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field + 3 years industry experience.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to make informed decisions.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of statistics and experience with high volume data analysis with Spotfire, JMP, SAS, dataConductor, or similar statistical analysis programs.
  • Knowledge of hardware design basics and semiconductor reliability basics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with JMP.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Visual Basic (VBT), or JSL.
  • Experience with AI, to improve engineering process efficiency.
  • Experience with Teradyne IG-XL tester platform.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes like CPK analysis, GRR, matrix lot review, OSAT production release, excursion material disposition.
