Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Product Designer in Armonk, NY.
Overview:
The ideal candidate combines strong UX fundamentals with exceptional interaction design skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity. They are comfortable evaluating multiple approaches, identifying tradeoffs, and recommending clear paths forward while partnering closely with Design Leads and extended UX teams. This is primarily an execution-focused role. Success will be measured by the quality of design decisions, clarity of recommendations, and ability to independently move complex work forward.
Responsibilities:
* Design end-to-end experiences for web and mobile products, from concepts through final specifications
* Create workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs
* Proactively identify and communicate rationale, assumptions, edge cases, alternate states, and implementation considerations
* Evaluate multiple solution approaches and identify key tradeoffs
* Make clear, well-reasoned recommendations
* Design thoughtful interactions, including edge cases, alternate states, and real-world constraints
* Work effectively from partially defined requirements, identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies
* Partner closely with Design Leads, Product, and Engineering to align on solutions and navigate technical constraints
* Communicate design rationale clearly and build confidence in recommendations
* Support implementation through design reviews, developer handoff, and design QA
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of UX, Product Design, or related experience
* Experience designing complex digital products for web and mobile
* Design system experience
* Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams
* Strong UX fundamentals and interaction design expertise
* Proficiency in Figma, including components, libraries, and prototyping
* Comfortable working independently in ambiguous problem spaces
* Strong documentation and communication practices, including the ability to clearly articulate design rationale, decisions, assumptions, and tradeoffs
* Accessibility knowledge and awareness of WCAG best practices
* Proven ability to analyze tradeoffs and make sound design recommendations
* Enterprise product experience preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
