We'll welcome you to a small feature specific team, with a dedicated mentor to work alongside and learn from. You'll make an impact by owning a project from problem to solution. Get ready to be exposed to every part of the design process, including research and content design, and to learn how to advocate for our users at each step. You'll have the opportunity to elevate your strengths and the dedicated feedback to identify areas of growth.
Ideal candidates will:
  • Show empathy and passion about simple, helpful user experiences
  • Display working knowledge of building wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma. Familiarity with auto-layout is a must.
  • Be familiar with using a design system of simple components and patterns.
  • Participate in design critiques, as well as facilitate discovery workshops.
  • Articulate design decisions and confidently present designs while centering the user.
  • Be observant and meticulous with small details.
  • Showcase an eagerness to learn and be open to feedback.
  • Have an interest in accessibility, content design, and user research.

Here's What You Need:
  • Full time college student with graduation date of spring/summer 2028
  • Work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks (June-August 2027)
  • Ability to commute to our headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA
  • Portfolio of at least one completed UX/product design project
  • Link of your portfolio on your resume
