Job description

About the Role:ย 

Product Delivery Managers at 10Pearls play an integral role as they are theย project managers for all of our client engagements and nurture long-lasting relationships with them. As a PDM, you will work closely with technical teams internally and externally to ensure client projects are delivered successfully and client expectations are exceeded.ย You'll engage with clients using project and product management skills to help them build products across multiple platforms and develop custom solutions utilizing SDLC and agile best practices. Your day will be spent between client management, team management, and product management.ย 

This is a hybrid role and will require 3-4 days per week on-site at our Tysons Corner office.ย 

Client Management:ย 

  • Guide project meetings and other client engagements to meet customer expectationsย ย 
  • Communicate effectively with both large and small teams of internal and external project stakeholders to set and manage client expectations and timelines throughout the project.ย 
  • Prepare and deliver frequent updates, maintain positive customer relationships, and ensure a positive customer journey.ย 
  • Prepare status updates with key milestones and deliverables, next steps, risks, and project timeline.ย 
  • Manage timeline and scope ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully and resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understand and validate the details of deliverables as provided by project resources.
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly internal meetings with team members and internal stakeholders.ย 

Team Management:ย 

  • Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirementsย 
  • Communicate effectively with large and small project teams consisting of both technical and non-technical project stakeholders to set and manage client expectations and timelines throughout the project.ย 
  • Provide transparency to senior leadership and work with design, development, information security, and other product management teams.ย 

Product Management:ย ย 

  • Develop product roadmap with external stakeholdersย 
  • Manage product development using software development best practicesย 
  • Gather requirements and document user storiesย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a services environment to deliver custom web and mobile solutions.ย 
  • Experience working with product management, engineering, and external teams to design and develop technology solutions, especially in the Fintech industry; experience working with offshore teams specifically is a plus.ย 
  • Experience working with clients ranging from fast-growing startups to large corporate clients.ย 
  • High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to adapt communication methods to the needs of the client.ย 
  • Experience working with technically diverse teams and products across multiple platforms.ย 
  • Certifications highly desired, including CSM, SAFe Agile and PMP.ย 
  • Experience managing teams and delivering products in an agile environment.ย 
  • Knowledge of JIRA or other project management software.ย
