MEPPI's Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) is seeking an experienced and market-focused Product Manager to lead the planning, development, launch, marketing, and lifecycle management of CPSD products and services. In this role, you will drive product strategy, identify growth opportunities, champion customer needs, and collaborate across the organization to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands and business objectives.
What You'll Do
Lead Product Strategy & Development: Identify, develop, commercialize, and evolve products within the CPSD portfolio. Plan product development initiatives in coordination with MEPPI and technology partners while leading relevant technical and business discussions.
Drive Market & Customer Insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, customer interviews, surveys, and industry engagement activities to identify customer needs, market trends, and strategic opportunities.
Develop Business Cases: Prepare and present business cases supporting investments in new products, product enhancements, and strategic initiatives. Support service development efforts in collaboration with the Service Center Division.
Manage Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Service, and other stakeholders to review project progress, address constraints, resolve technical and commercial issues, and manage scope changes.
Develop Product Content & Messaging: Oversee the creation of product information, application content, customer success stories, and technical materials for traditional, digital, and social media channels.
Lead Product Launches: Coordinate with internal departments to conduct training, develop sales tools, launch marketing campaigns, and execute go-to-market strategies.
Support Marketing Initiatives: Partner with Divisional and Corporate Marketing teams to design and implement lead generation and product marketing campaigns.
Manage Product Pricing & Configuration: Develop and maintain product price books, product configurations, catalog numbers, descriptions, and pricing strategies.
Represent CPSD Externally: Conduct customer presentations, webinars, industry seminars, and conference presentations to promote CPSD products and capabilities.
Provide Technical Sales Support: Support MEPPI divisions, channel partners, sales teams, and application engineering teams with product-related expertise and guidance.
Monitor Business Performance: Review activity reports and financial performance metrics to evaluate progress toward product sales goals and adjust strategies as needed.
Develop Business Intelligence Capabilities: Advance business intelligence tools and processes that support market analysis, opportunity identification, strategic planning, and product roadmap development.
Promote Division Excellence: Further the goals and professional image of CPSD through effective collaboration with customers, technology partners, and internal teams.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial sales and marketing of technical capital equipment, products, or related services
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Technical & Business Expertise
  • Experience managing technical products throughout the product lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of product commercialization, market research, and customer engagement
  • Experience supporting technical products and services in industrial or mission-critical markets
