Job Title: Configuration Manager

The Configuration Manager is responsible for configuration management and change control activities. You will work with leaders of critical Anduril programs to manage a dynamic design, engineering, and manufacturing environment. The role is the focal point for capturing and defining the baseline for a program’s requirements, design, testing, manufacturing, and sustainment data structures (requirements baseline, EBOM, MBOM, SOM, BOP).

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with Product and Program Teams to execute configuration management activities per the program CM plan.
  • Ensure robust configuration identification processes and documentation for supported programs.
  • Manage end-to-end configuration control, including engineering release and facilitation of critical CM forums such as Change Control Board (CCB) and Configuration Review Board (CRB).
  • Collaborate with Configuration Management Analysts to build and maintain configuration status accounting dashboards; ensure critical data is captured, recorded, and distributed (decisions recorded, ECRs and ECNs populated, implementation checklists written, etc.).
  • Coordinate and lead configuration audits (functional and physical) as needed.
  • Own end-to-end change management for key programs, including documenting, reviewing, approving, and communicating engineering changes in a timely manner.
  • Set agendas for configuration management meetings (Technical Review Board, Change Control Board) ahead of time.
  • Generate and submit change requests, including impact analyses.
  • Oversee product configuration by analyzing baselines (EBOM, MBOM) for compliance to standards.
  • Support configuration management reviews and audits (FCA/PCA) and provide direction before, during, and after events to prevent or resolve issues.
  • Perform periodic audits of as-built records in Teamcenter (EBOM, MBOM, etc.).
  • Serve as the expert resource for Engineering Release and Change Management standards; model the use of Teamcenter to manage engineering changes, revisions, and related workflows.
  • Provide guidance and support to Engineering teams in configuring EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven direct product configuration management experience (structure, parts, drawings, and requirements management).
  • 5+ years of experience in high-complexity, high-rate production environments (aerospace, automotive, security systems, medical devices, nuclear).
  • Familiarity with configuration management principles and practices (EIA649/C, MIL-HDBK-61B).
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools for CM of complex products.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex quantitative data into clear decisions.
  • BA/BS in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Nuclear, Manufacturing).
  • Ability to earn and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficient in technical writing of processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, Teamcenter Requirements, Teamcenter Quality, Confluence & JIRA.
  • Database skills with SQL queries.
  • CM2 or equivalent configuration management certification.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: 126,000 USD to 167,000 USD. This range is an estimate based on base salary; actual offers may vary based on experience and other factors. Anduril typically includes equity and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
