Overview

Warringtonfire, part of the Element Group, has an opportunity for a Certification Auditor working remotely covering the Midlands or North West region (depending on your location). This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing employers within the Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.

Responsibilities
    Conducting and reporting on factory production control audits as part of our certification schemes
  • Selection of samples for initial type testing or audit testing from factory, site or the market
  • Witnessing of production of samples for testing
  • Carrying out assessments of clients' operations in accordance with BS EN ISO 19011 (guidelines for auditing management systems)
  • Reporting assessments in accordance with BS EN 19011 (guidelines for auditing management systems)
  • Conducting and reporting on ISO9001 (quality management systems) when required
  • To suggest improvements and to support and assist with the implementation of process and improvement projects
  • Assisting in conducting internal quality audits allied to maintenance of UKAS accreditations
  • When required - Assisting with the training of new Auditors
Skills / Qualifications
  • Educated to HNC / A Level standard or equivalent
  • Ideally experienced in auditing production of products at factories
  • QMS lead auditor qualification or equivalent, OR willingness and ability to complete the course
  • Good IT skills
  • Competent with MS Office applications: in particular MS Word
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral
  • Ability to take ownership of clients and manage issues to a successful conclusion
  • Customer focused, develop strong working relationships
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, positive and effective team player
  • Ability and willingness to travel across UK with overnight stays
  • Work From Home / Remote - ideally based in the Midlands or North West England
