Assortment Analyst

Are you passionate about retail, consumer behavior, and using data to drive commercial decisions? Do you thrive in a fast-paced international environment where creativity meets business performance? Then you might be the Assortment Analyst we're looking for to help grow Flying Tiger Copenhagen across the Americas.

About the Role

Based at our Miami office on Lincoln Road, you will play a key role in optimizing the product assortment for our growing AMER region, currently including Canada, Mexico, and El Salvador, with additional markets to come.

Working closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Buying, and Retail teams, you will use data and market insights to ensure our assortment reflects local customer needs while staying true to the Flying Tiger Copenhagen concept.

Your analysis and recommendations will directly support commercial performance, new store openings, and profitable growth across the region.

What you will do:
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve assortment relevance, sales, and profitability.
  • Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market insights to support assortment decisions.
  • Contribute to assortment reviews and recommend commercial actions based on data.
Support commercial planning
  • Support the planning of seasonal launches, campaigns, and commercial calendars.
  • Analyze product commitments and inventory plans to maximize commercial performance.
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to optimize product availability and inventory health.
Support business growth
  • Develop assortment and space recommendations for new store openings and existing stores.
  • Collaborate with stores and commercial teams to identify assortment gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement of commercial processes and best practices.
Deliver insights
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reporting.
  • Present recommendations to regional leadership and global stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses supporting strategic initiatives and business development.
Who you are
  • You have a bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (masterโ€™s degree is a plus).
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, category management, commercial planning, business analysis, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong commercial mindset and passion for retail and customer behavior.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, growing organization.

Salary range: USD 60.000 - 75.000 annually
