Job description

Job Title: Clothes Hanger / Production Assistant

Bobby Page Dry Cleaners is looking for a long-term, reliable, fast-paced Clothes Hanger / Production Assistant to join our production team. Immediate opening. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that is critical to keeping our pressing stations running smoothly and maintaining high quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove clothing from all three dry cleaning machines promptly after each cycle
  • Inspect each garment for stains or damage before hanging and flag any issues at this stage of the process
  • Hang every piece of clothing and sort into groups by type: pants, shirts, sport coats, gowns/dresses, and other
  • Deliver sorted garments to the correct pressing station based on garment type (e.g., carry all pants to the pants pressers, all dresses to the dress press station)
  • Maintain a constant, steady flow of garments to each presser so they never run out of work
  • Work quickly and accurately to keep pace with production standards
  • Keep the production area clean and organized at all times
  • Follow all safety practices and keep walkways clear and free of clutter
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand and remain active for a full 8-hour shift, minus scheduled breaks
  • Extreme attention to detail — able to catch stains and damage before garments move further into production
  • Ability to work quickly and consistently; this role sets the pace for the pressing department
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift; this position requires upper body strength and repetitive motion
  • Ability to receive feedback professionally and work well with others in a calm, emotionally mature way
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is required. No-call/no-shows and repeated lateness will not be tolerated and will result in termination. (Legally protected absences — such as jury duty, approved medical leave, or other legally protected leave — are excluded from this policy.)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour, with increases starting at 6 months based on attendance and quality of work
