Job description

We have a project opportunity on our Department of State (DOS) TIOCA program on the Operations team. We support over 70 applications and 4 DOS missions. 

The Product Analyst supports product teams by turning business needs, user feedback, and data into clear requirements and actionable insights. This role is responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing requirements from stakeholders, helping define product scope and priorities, and partnering with product managers, designers, engineers, and business teams to ensure solutions meet user and business needs.

Responsibilities/Skills: 

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
  • Support product discovery, gap analysis, and solution evaluation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguity
  • Analyze product performance, user behavior, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in prioritization decisions by evaluating business impact, effort, and dependencies
  • Support testing, validation, and release readiness activities
  • Maintain documentation throughout the product lifecycle

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors and 5+ years or more experience; Masters and 3+ years; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong requirements gathering and analysis experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
  • Familiarity with product development methodologies and Agile practices
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or business process mapping preferred

Required Clearance:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Active secret clearance. 

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with Jira
  • Willing to work after hours or on weekends occasionally
