Summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Product Analytics Lead to drive analytics strategy and execution for the 7-Eleven mobile app. In this role, you'll partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations leaders to turn data into insights that shape the digital customer experience for millions of users. You'll translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence executive decision making. You will apply your analytical skills, technical skills, and product sense to support leadership by setting goals for execution and prioritizing what to build. Your work will help guide product strategies by using data and insights through developing hypotheses and employing rigorous analytical approaches to test them. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, brings intellectual rigor to every problem, and is passionate about using data to deliver value to customers and the business.

General Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the analytics roadmap for the 7-Eleven app, partnering closely with Product Managers to define success metrics, size opportunities, and measure impact across customer experiences.
  • Perform modeling/analytics to assist new product strategies, evaluate features, quantify incrementality, and inform product decisions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and self-service reporting that give stakeholders visibility into product performance and customer behavior.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data integrity, define instrumentation requirements, and advocate for a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks, and communicate findings to senior leaders through compelling, narrative-driven storytelling.

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related).
  • At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
  • Strong communication skills. Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business or quantitative fields such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building or scripting language (Python or R).
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting.
