Who You'll Work With:

This role is organized under AllianceBernstein's Fixed Income Business Development unit within the Global Client Group. The Client Group has a presence in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia, and is composed of five main areas:

  • Sales & Client Services works with financial intermediaries and institutions to offer diversified investment solutions that help clients build and preserve their wealth

  • Business Development is a conduit to the firm's investment teams and supports our clients and internal business partners through investment-platform and product content, messaging, competitive analysis and education

  • Product Strategy & Development designs, develops and manages the firm's global lineup of investment services and considers clients' evolving needs to identify new opportunities

  • Marketing promotes the firm and its services by creating, packaging and distributing content and messaging to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms and initiatives, strategic campaigns, and events

  • Business Transformation looks to evolve and scale our business, leveragingdigital and data, todrive top-line growth and improve profitability

What You'll Do:

As a crucial member of the Fixed Income Business Development team, you will be at the forefront the firm's efforts to commercialize our fixed income investment products. As a Product Analyst, you would partner with both investment and distribution teams to promote and drive the growth of the business for AB. The Product Analyst will serve as product champion for specific Fixed Income products, as well as focuses on various channels and/or regions. In this position, you would support investment strategists in their day-to-day work and will be responsible for articulating AB's fixed income market views and portfolio strategies with clients, consultants, and prospects.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build a presence and deep understanding of the investment process, market outlook, and become a strong advocate for AB's fixed income products

  • Serve as a representative of the investment team and the portfolios by being the point of contact for Global Sales (Regional Consultants / Managers, Institutional Associates / Advisors, etc.) for the specific products, as assigned, but with broad exposure to the full array of fixed income strategies at AB

  • Partner with Investment Management to create and update a strong, consistent suite of core product marketing and client-service materials, in collaboration with marketing colleagues. In addition, seek broad feedback from investment management and distribution to identify areas for improvement

  • Explain portfolio performance and positioning by conducting attribution and risk reports in coordination with the portfolio management team

  • Create new sales ideas/ways to advocate for specific products and asset classes

  • Understand strategies to communicate priorities to broader Business Development team as well as other internal and external stakeholders

  • Assist on/review RFPs, and answer advisor/relationship manager questions on specific sales opportunities

  • Identify areas for thought leadership that connect with product responsibilities

  • In addition, the Product Analyst is responsible for the following in their respective platform:

    • Review and update prospecting decks, fact sheets and product overviews

    • Provide market commentary and updates

    • Respond to incoming client inquiries and internal requests

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 1-4 years of experience in the investment management industry. Experience with fixed income instruments is preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63, 65, 66 licenses preferred

  • Current CFA or progressing towards preferred

  • Interest in the capital markets, and finding creative ways to connect with our clients & prospects globally

  • Marketing and messaging skills, with the vision to create and maintain a compelling story for the firm's fixed income business and individual products

  • Excellent communication skills, be highly detail-oriented and organized

  • The ability to turn complex data into actionable insights

  • A commitment to strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork.

  • Expertise in analytical and presentation software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
