Job description

Role: Executive Producer, Synapse Virtual Production

Salary: $150,000

Type: Full-Time Staff

The Executive Producer is the senior production leader for Synapse Virtual Production's Atlanta studio, a next‑generation virtual production facility developed through a strategic, multi‑year collaboration with Tyler Perry Studios and located on the historic 365‑acre Tyler Perry Studios campus. Reporting to the VP of Global Production, this role owns the front end of the business—building client relationships, leading bid strategy, developing proposals, and aligning internal teams from early opportunity through project award.

The Executive Producer also leads the Atlanta Stage Team and provides executive oversight throughout the lifecycle of awarded work, ensuring exceptional creative execution, operational excellence, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading early client relationships and shaping projects from inquiry through bid, award, and handoff
  • Partnering with business development and sales to translate creative goals into executable production and technical approaches
  • Managing the Atlanta Stage Team and holding final authority over staffing and studio structure
  • Maintaining executive oversight on awarded work — creative direction, project health, quality, and client continuity
  • Contributing to repeatable production standards and SOPs across the studio

The ideal candidate brings deep production leadership experience, strong financial acumen, a thorough understanding of virtual production workflows, and the ability to translate complex technical offerings into compelling client strategy.
