Job description

Role: Executive Producer, Synapse Virtual Production
Salary: $150,000
Type: Freelance
The Executive Producer is the senior production lead for our Atlanta studio. This role owns the front end of the business — shaping client relationships, leading bid strategy, developing proposals, and aligning internal teams from early opportunity through project award. Reporting to the VP of Global Production, the EP directly manages the Stage Team and remains a senior partner through the full lifecycle of awarded work, ensuring creative, operational, and financial outcomes are met.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading early client relationships and shaping projects from inquiry through bid, award, and handoff
  • Partnering with business development and sales to translate creative goals into executable production and technical approaches
  • Managing the Atlanta Stage Team and holding final authority over staffing and studio structure
  • Maintaining executive oversight on awarded work — creative direction, project health, quality, and client continuity
  • Contributing to repeatable production standards and SOPs across the studio

The ideal candidate brings deep production leadership experience, strong financial acumen, a thorough understanding of virtual production workflows, and the ability to translate complex technical offerings into compelling client strategy.
