Job description

About Perform

Perform is a consulting and engineering partner helping organizations move from idea to working outcome - faster, with less noise, and with results that hold up under operational pressure. We bring AI strategy, custom software delivery, strategic consulting, and nearshore engineering talent together under one roof, so clients don't have to bounce between firms to get from a question to a shipped solution.

We work with companies where workflow complexity, security, and ROI all matter - with particular strength in healthcare and banking, and a client base that includes TJ Maxx, AON, Cox, Paychex, Lowe's, and Shutterfly. We've been doing this since 2005 and have delivered 1,000+ successful projects

The Role

You will own Perform's content marketing end-to-end.ย  That means a steady drumbeat of high-quality video, written, and social content that demonstrates expertise, builds inbound demand, and gives our outbound and sales motion real ammunition.

This is not a "schedule the social posts" job. You will work directly with the CEO and our consulting team to turn deep technical and strategic thinking into content that actually moves the needle - LinkedIn videos, founder/exec interview series, case studies, product demos, written POVs, and more.

What You'll Own
  • Content strategy and calendar. Build and run a quarterly content plan tied to our two core verticals - banking and healthcare - and our agent-in-a-box offering.
  • LinkedIn engine. Run the CEO's and Perform's LinkedIn presence as a primary growth channel. Write posts, ghostwrite, repurpose video into clips, and build a posting cadence that compounds.
  • Video and interview series. Plan and produce a recurring interview series with founders, banking and healthcare executives, and AI practitioners. Coordinate guests, run the shoot logistics (we have access to a podcasting space), and turn each episode into 8-10 derivative pieces of content.
  • Written content. POV pieces, case studies, vertical playbooks, demo write-ups, and email/nurture content for our outbound campaigns.
  • Demo and product content. Work with our consulting team to capture short, sharp demo videos of the AI agents we build for clients (with permission) and our agent-in-a-box.
  • Distribution and SEO. Own publishing across LinkedIn, our website, YouTube, and email. Make sure everything we create is found, indexed, and reused.
  • Measurement. Track what's working - reach, engagement, inbound leads, sourced pipeline - and double down. We want a data-driven content function, not a vibes-based one.
What You Bring

This role carries real ownership and we've scoped it that way deliberately. The right person is someone who can already operate at that level, or who is clearly on that trajectory and ready to step up.

  • 3-6 years of content marketing experience, ideally at a B2B services, SaaS, or consulting firm. Bonus points if you've marketed into financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
  • A strong portfolio of work you actually wrote, produced, or directed - not just "managed." Send us links to LinkedIn posts, articles, videos, or campaigns you're proud of.
  • Comfort on both sides of the camera. You can interview an executive, edit a 90-second clip, and write a 600-word LinkedIn post in the same afternoon.
  • Sharp written voice. You can take a half-hour conversation with a subject matter expert and turn it into something a busy C-suite would actually read.
  • Native or near-native fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, video editing tools, etc.) and a real opinion on how to use them in a content workflow.
  • Self-starter. We don't need a manager-of-managers; we need a builder who can run the function with a small budget and a lot of leverage.
  • Experience producing podcasts or video series.
  • Working knowledge of AI/agents and what's actually going on in the AI industry today.
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience marketing to banking, healthcare, or other regulated verticals.
  • Light design chops (Figma, Canva) for social graphics and one-pagers
What Success Looks Like in Year One
  • Perform has a credible, consistent content presence on LinkedIn and YouTube, with a clear voice in AI-for-banking and AI-for-healthcare.
  • A recurring interview/video series is in market and producing 8-10 derivative assets per episode.
  • Content is sourcing measurable inbound demand - meetings, qualified leads, and pipeline - that didn't exist before.
  • Our outbound and sales motion has a steady library of POVs, case studies, and clips to use in their conversations.
  • You've built strong working relationships with Perform's CEO, delivery, and consulting leaders, and they trust you to translate their expertise into content.
How We Work

Perform is remote-first with our office in Milton, GA. This role is open to U.S.-based candidates, with a strong preference for Atlanta because much of the video work happens here. Expect a weekly half-day content production block with the leadership team, plus async collaboration the rest of the week. We are a growing company; expect the work to be fast-paced, high-trust, and lean on process.

How We'll Know You're the One

These are the qualities we look for in the people who thrive at Perform:

  • Customer Focus. Acts with customers in mind. Builds trust through honesty and delivery, not promises. Uses what they learn from customers to make the content sharper.
  • Storytelling. Can find the story inside a technical conversation and tell it in a way a busy executive will actually finish.
  • Voice and Judgment. Has strong taste. Knows the difference between content that performs and content that just gets posted.
  • Persuasive. Communicates compellingly. Uses evidence and judgment, not pressure. Adapts to the audience.
  • Self-Directed. Takes initiative. Doesn't wait to be asked. Spots problems and addresses them.
  • Composure. Cool under pressure. Doesn't get defensive when things get hard. Steady when stakes are high.
  • Integrity. Direct, honest, trustworthy. Keeps commitments. Owns mistakes.
  • Work Ethic. Brings real energy. Operates well with minimum supervision. Goes the extra mile when it matters.
  • Ambitious. Wants to grow - personally, professionally, and as part of a company that is going somewhere.

Why Perform

  • A growing firm with established enterprise clients and a clear position in AI-era services.
  • Four real service lines behind the marketing - AI, Build, Consult, Hire/Nearshore - so you have substantive work to talk about, not vaporware.
  • Direct line to the CEO and delivery leaders. No bureaucracy between you and getting things done.
  • Remote-first with the autonomy that comes with it.
  • The opportunity to build and own a function as Perform grows.
