Responsibilities:

Assists in required organizational activities for a dedicated cyber security environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Management of Information Systems, or related field plus 6-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in networking and security, including knowledge of LAN and WAN Internet, PIV authentication, Splunk, Splunk ES, Splunk ITSI, Palo Alto Firewalls, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, incident forensics, real-time vulnerability assessment, and threat remediation.
  • Experience with Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Tenable.sc, Tenable Nessus Manager with Nessus Agent, Tenable Nessus, Forescout CounterACT, Carbon Black, Tanium, Rubrik, Corelight IDS, Fidelis Networks, SentryWire packet capture systems, Cisco switches, vCenter, vSphere, and VMWare workstation.
  • Will provide support and analysis for Linux and Microsoft Windows-based networks; may complete formal analysis of alternatives for various associated technologies and will perform incident management activities, baseline configuration development and application, equipment and systems setup, testing, and maintenance activities; shall develop threat based system and program-level analysis reports and briefings for federal client management; and will participate in unified threat management activities. The position requires technical and collaboration skills.
  • This is a team environment and requires a willingness and ability to cross-train in various cyber security areas, multi-tasking, and changing activities and directions quickly.
  • The candidate should also be well versed in acting-based threat briefings.
  • The position may require domestic travel and requires an ability to work with clients’ residents in multiple time zones.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position is a Hybrid Work Arrangement with some travel/onsite requirements.
  • Schedule is full-time, Monday – Friday 40-hour week.
