PRIMARY FUNCTION

Program Manager is responsible for supporting the sales effort by managing Client(s) program requirements. This includes providing direction to internal and external partners to ensure deliverables are met.


This role operates as both a program leader and a hands-on project manager, balancing strategic oversight with direct execution based on client needs and workload.


This role partners with clients to identify, develop, and execute program expectations, overseeing the success of multiple connected projects while guiding team priorities and communication.


The Program Manager partners closely with an Account Executive, who owns the client relationship and growth strategy, while this role owns program execution and delivery performance.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management

  • Partner with sales and clients to define and implement program expectations
  • Align resources and partners to deliver efficiently, with strong cost and quality control
  • Monitor program performance and provide reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage service partners, inventory programs, and operational workflows
  • Oversee financial aspects including design and project management time, and support billing reviews

Client Engagement

  • Participate in client meetings to understand business needs and drivers
  • Partner with Account Executive to support program success and identify growth opportunities
  • Deliver executive summaries highlighting performance, value delivered, and recommendations

Project Management & Delivery 

  • Lead execution of projects within the program, acting as a hands-on Project Manager 
  • Manage projects from kickoff through closeout, including planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Facilitate key meetings and establish clear roles and expectations
  • Monitor progress, risks, and issues; act as escalation point and drive resolution
  • Manage budgets, pricing coordination, and cost tracking at the project level
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery
  • Ensure compliance with defined processes and best practices

Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and manage project schedules, delivery sequencing, and timelines
  • Communicate updates, requirements, and risks to all stakeholders
  • Partner with Installation Manager and project teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Resolve issues in real time during project delivery

Project Closeout & Quality

  • Lead punch list walkthroughs and ensure completion of all action items
  • Confirm documentation, communication, and final client sign-off
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and support development of team members
  • Reinforce accountability, consistency, and execution standards
  • Set direction for team members and ensure alignment to program priorities and resources

  • Client Satisfaction - Maintain an average client satisfaction score of 4.5/5 or higher across assigned programs/projects and complete documented quarterly check-ins for all key accounts.
  • On-Time Delivery - Deliver 90% or more of assigned projects and major milestones on time, with schedule risks communicated to stakeholders within 48 hours of identification.
  • Project Margin Performance - Achieve or exceed approved gross margin targets on 85% or more of assigned projects, with timely escalation and action planning for any project trending below target margin.
  • Process Improvement - Implement at least 2 measurable process improvements annually that improve delivery efficiency, reporting, communication, or quality, with documented results.
  • Leadership & Development - Mentor at least 1 team member during the year and lead 2 internal training or best-practice sharing sessions to support team consistency and capability development.
