We are seeking a Project Procurement Manager to take ownership of purchasing acrossย multiple active projects and locations. The successful candidate will have experience with major procurements including engineered equipment, project consumables, indirect procurements such as software, and subcontracted services to support work in the power generation and delivery markets.ย ย  ย 

What You'll Do Here:

  • The successful candidate will lead purchasing and procurement for the organization and support multiple projects and programs in both conventional and nuclear markets
  • The project procurement manager will source materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for multiple projects and the functional organization.
  • Will be responsible for negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Will work closely with project managers, project engineering managers and functional leadership to support project and organizational needs.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and logistics acrossย different projects and job sites.
  • Support estimating and proposal development with material pricing, schedules and availability.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of experience across the spectrum of procurement and project materials management functions; 4+ years of experience in the Engineering and Construction Industry; and 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of administration and management principles
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Able to work independent of supervision.
  • Responsible for managing a small group of supply chain personnel.
  • Experience supportingย multiple projects, job sites, or locations simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience
  • Organized, proactive, and able to operate with urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask

Salary Range & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 annually
