About the Role:
YQN is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Material Handling Equipment to support nationwide warehouse operations by leading the sourcing and procurement of forklifts and warehouse equipment. This role focuses on supplier development, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and vendor relationship management to support the company's continued expansion across the United States. This role can be based at our office in Fontana, CA, Port Reading, NJ, Buford, GA, or Katy, TX.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead sourcing and procurement of forklifts, material handling equipment, and warehouse operational equipment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier market research and benchmark pricing, quality, and service capabilities.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to improve cost efficiency and supplier performance.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and strategic suppliers.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, warranties, delivery schedules, and service agreements.
  • Partner with Operations, Warehouse Management, Facilities, Finance, and Legal teams to support business needs.
  • Coordinate equipment delivery schedules and resolve supplier-related issues.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience.
  • Proven experience in supplier development and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing multiple suppliers and procurement projects.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience purchasing forklifts, warehouse equipment, industrial equipment, or material handling equipment.
  • Background in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • Experience working with equipment manufacturers or authorized distributors.
  • Knowledge of procurement contracts and vendor management.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or nationwide procurement.

Pay: $70k - 100K/yr
